When you have a free agent and you make an ad... sometimes you will get 3-4 offers at once with no pm's to match it and no comments. Then you don't really know which person sent you the contract offer, it might not have been the owner of the team. So one of the options on the contract offers page (besides accept/reject) should be a PM button, letting you send a message directly to the person that sent you the offer with any questions you might have about the team or w/e the case may be.
