There is no point to it, it's boring and you can't do anything.

actually I think the roster freeze day is there to aid GLB in league alignments and team placements. I may be wrong but I think that was the biggest reason to have it.

Alignments, team placements have NOTHING to do with roster freeze or 3+ years later it would be done as intended.
