I really liked the ROLB in the 4-2-5 back in the day and went a step further and let's have OLB's in both LB Spots in 4-2-5 and 3-2-6. Mike's are typically too slow to keep up with Speedy Scat Backs.

I use that spot for Coverage LB's in 4-1-6 Dime and Quarter Formations. (As well as others) I would rather have a Sam and Will on the Field in a 2 LB look for Run Support.

So you have speed/coverage LBs in your default LOLB & ROLB slots.

Why can't you put the speed guys in the MLB1 slot?

No..I have Stronger more Balanced LB's @ Sam and Will.

i think your doing it wrong. you could set your LB depth chart with speed guys and use your ROLB1/RILB1/MLB1/LILB1/LOLB1 for your Stronger or more Balanced LB's,

This is why we don't have any new Agents wanting to become Coaches....It's too complicated,lol.
