Supposedly my contract has expired, yet I cannot retire my player. Anyone want to give us an idea of WHEN on Day 40 the contract actually expires, because this is shitty and misleading. Fortunately, I'm a night owl anyway, or I'd be super pissed I stayed up until rollover....

That's because day 40 is an included day in your contract. The next roll over for day 41 and you will be able to retire players.

Super lame, since I need to retire my free player so I can start from scratch.

You can retire you player tomorrow and still create a guy without losing anything. I need to retire a couple dudes also

Yeah, I just want to make sure I have access to a particular position before it hits low demand and cannot be created with a free character slot.

Your toon should get released soon, all the nightly processing doesn't happen the instant it turns to D41.
There's a 2 hour window (pretty sure) where all the nightly training and stuff happens. so it'll happen within the next 2 hours if I'm not mistaken (probably pretty soon)

Dude, plus if you ARE going to get a free HB it'll be later in the day tomorrow.. When people retire and stuff like Whodey said in my post.
