OT Sudden Death rules need to be re evaluated.

Each team must possess or have the opportunity to possess the ball unless the team that has the ball first scores a touchdown on its initial possession. Play continues in sudden death until a winner is determined, and the game automatically ends upon any score (by safety, field goal, or touchdown).

The "Brett Favre" rule.

I can only imagine the OAI fail that would ensue.

I would rather see a college type overtime, just my 2 cents.

+1 the idea of whatever team wins the coin toss going down and scoring and the other team not getting a chance to counter is hard to swallow at times.

yeah, new NFL OT rules applied here would be cool. Remember though, GLB was first made when NFL had old OT rules which is why we have them.

AI for O and D wouldn't be hard to implement IMO.

I think they should stay the same. First team to score in OT wins. Thats how its always been.

You forget that this game isnt based on the NFL, or madden, or anything else u can think up.

NFL was the only one at the time with the OT rules like what GLB has, so yeah, that clearly is where the inspiration came from.

Eh, I like the NFL's new system better than their old system (and thus GLB's system), but y'know what? It's just dotball. I'm fine with it the way it is.

If you don't want to lose in overtime because the other team gets the ball first, fix your defense.
