So, I'm trying to get some insight on how packages work with the AI's and want to make sure I have it correct, before trying to use it.

So, with the packages portion I assume I can have an inside rush package, outside rush package, passing situations like short, medium long yardage. Within those packages I can have multiple plays and set how I want the depth chart to be used for certain dots. Once I have those created...I go to my AI and add my packages like inside rush and outside rush. Then when I set the %bias in the AI it will run those packages based on that % and then within the packages it will run the different plays within it based on those % biases???

Or, does everything I just said sound like a bunch of babble?

Nope, everything you said is right. You can also use auto adjust in the AI and/or packages. If you use the auto adjust in the packages it adjusts how often each play gets called based on how well they are working, and in the AI, the auto adjust will adjust which packages get run, based on which packages are working effectively/not effectively.
