1) when 2 or more finalists are eliminated at the same time, let them all advance until only one is left. only if 2 or more reach 20 games should there be a tie
or, if that can't be coded, then
2) adjust the formula for splits. right now there are two problems... one is that the split can be very small if someone wins a multi-way tie (there are some contests now where the winners would each get 8 RPs. there should be some kind of minimum award (perhaps 50)... but the bigger problem is the part where they get the prize for the highest value contest, so suppose they win a low level game outright (150 RPs), but are part of a 4-way tie for a higher one (one-fourth of 200 RPs), the currently would get the 50 and not the 150.
