I can access forums but get 500 error when try to go to home page.
And I am always logged in

Always logged in, as in I hit "log out" and I am still logged in.

I have tried from 2 computers and my phone.

Tried changing password via log in page and got an error there also.

If I try going to home page it says

Internal server error, please contact administration (no address givin)

I got a virus, that is where this all started. But my iPhone has no virus, and the 2nd computer I tried from is virus free.

Somehow the virus has infected my GLB account? Maybe because I attempted to log in from the infected computer

Tried a system restore, but virus blocks it . It's a "Progressive Scan" virus, it wants me to give CC info to get a virus protection and keeps me from doing ANYTHING on the computer , even when I start in safe mode.

How it is causing the 500 error on GLB from other computer/phone I do not have a clue.

I can get another computer, but I still would want to access my home page at GLB

Any ideas?

Settle down....LOL It is caused from the time change last night. You are not the only one going thru this right now. They will fix it. Just have to be patient.

OK, well that's a relief .

So, anyone have any recommendations on how to remove a virus when it is blocking me from everything ?
(unrelated to 500 error, my laptop does have a nasty virus)

Also I swear I wasn't searching porn sites when this happened.

Been a long time since I've had to remove one. ctrl alt del - show processes. Figure out which is the virus and end it. Then you should be able to find it and remove it or download anti virus. I think, it's been literally years since I've had to do this.

Have not tried CTRL -alt - del yet...show process , will try that now. Thanks for the advice

Gonna try that from safe mode 1st, even though the virus is even screwing with everything in safe mode as well

That didn't work, no option "show process"

Just takes me to a windows vista screen with 5 options

Lock computer
Switch user
Log off
Change password
Start task manager


No matter what I do I get a popup that reads "Application can not be executed. The file blahblah.exe is infected"
