This would really help out the Coaches and I don't see what it would hurt? If you don't want your Coaches seeing them....don't.

not as long as agents pay the flex for dots... this isn't the NFL--the team owner's don't pay for the players in GLB, the agents do... an optional setting will quickly become an expectation and then a de facto requirement.

1) there is nothing preventing an agent from posting their tactics settings in a team forum and/or PMing the owner/coordinator to share them
2) owners/coordinators can and do post suggested tactics settings in the team forum
3) a good OC/DC can tell where the settings are just by watching game film and make suggestions, like "your QB is throwing a bit too lofty, can you lower the slider" or "your LB is missing too many tackles, can you go to wrap-up"

Very little is optional between team and player unless the agent has proven time and time again he knows what he's doing and the owner/GM's recognize that. For the vast majority though it's as fogie55 describes, optional becomes and expected defacto requirement.

Although other have made very good points (against the OP) so far, I'd still like to add one more. Even IF... Even IF an OPTION was made available to agents to allow their tactics to be either viewable and/or adjustable by coaches and such... I would be afraid many an agent would become lazy and simply not even check their tactics anymore. Just allow someone else to do it. If not that, then agents who DIDN'T allow access to their tactics by coaches and such could easily cause issues about the same... which splits up teams. The way it is now is "almost" best... but there was another (suggestion) thread somewhere (no... I don't wanna go huntin it down) where a better suggestion was to have a special "tactics alert" whereby coaches could send their suggested tactics to a players page that could be opened ON THE TACTICS PAGE where the agent then could easily apply the tactics without having to do stuff like check the forum and copy down the tactics or have the forum open on one page(tab) while another page(tab) had the player's tactics so it could be easily copied. Not a big issue if you only have a couple of dots on a team... but if you have quite a few (and they're of varying positions)... then it can be a little tedious.
Still, it's not a really badly needed upgrade to the game. A nice little addition, yes... but not badly needed.

Why does no one realize this is up for vote?

the fact that its being voted on--with the majority voting yes--and is not under consideration to be implemented hopefully means GLB understands that this is poisonous and unnecessary.

Also a stupid argument. With the wild things that happen in this game often times there is no way to tell the difference. Some agents disappear for days because the game has become so lulling. Not having such an option exist is just pure idiocy.

so because some owners recruit bad agents, all agents should be subject to control by all owners? talk about a idiotic argument.

Is it a bad agent that wants to hide all information about his player from his coordinator or one that disappears a couple days at a time because the game is boring?

build more straw arguments.

I'm surprised no one brought this up...the Owner is paying for the team. They are paying for most scrimmages, paying for additional seasons and the initial cost, giving your player a place to play and learn more about the game, giving you XP, and keeping you up to date on training. The owner is pretty much letting you experience GLB imo. The least you can do is open up your builds and tactics, and follow and build guide. Doing this will make you a better player and that's what most of us strive for, greatness. Just my opinion here.
