I was thinking of doing a new team next season to get back into it but doesn't look like it's worth it.

Between burnout, the high cost of a full-full PW team, and the Rookie leagues, PW is dying a slow death.

However, many of us in Gold discovered that no-no teams are very competitive late in the season. In fact, in S30, the two teams in the PWG championship game were both no-no and had to beat several full-full teams to get there. Of course being full-full is still an advantage, but it's not nearly as large as it once was, so many teams in PWG have gone no-no or partial-partial. So for those who can afford a full-full team or recruit enough agents to make one, kudos to you as it's still an advantage, especially early in the season. Just don't count on an automatic win against a good no-no team near the end of the season or in the playoffs.

I used to have one pure full-full and one pure no-no PWG team, but have switched both teams to mostly no-no. I did get some CEQ for a couple specific positions and also plan on using my free players on one team next season and hope some of my agents do the same. So my teams are not truly no-no, just mostly. I think a number of teams are doing something similar.

Don't read this as a push to go no-no if you already have a full-full team as full-full teams still have an advantage, especially early in the season. Instead, consider it as an alternative to quitting outright as running a no-no team is still fun and you can still be competitive late in the season without spending a lot of money.

See a lot of WL dotballers giving PeeWee a try for the first time this season, with the freebie dots.

I think quite a few will stick around next season.

If people stopped boosting 1-4, it could bring it back. But doubt it

I hope so, the competition in Gold has really dropped the last 5+ seasons to the point where good no-no teams have a real shot at winning it all, and that just shouldn't be!

I think it is because the freebie dots were givin ou after the postseason boost period. My guess is they will be retired and be distributed throughout rookie next season.

Well I was thinking why not make peewee leagues smaller, well the amount of leagues because I see each league have about 4 active teams so of the size of peewee leagues was decreased to like about 5 or 6 I think it would be active

why?

It's actually quite depressing.

Peewee is good for one season. Basically the only reason I buy a PW team is to play in the same league with friends or to knock someone I don't like out of a cheap gold in copper.

lol...only thing the d-leagues is good for is slow building dots. i sometimes will build a dots and keep all skill points unassigned then sign the dot to a human owned team when training is complete. but thats about all i feel d-leagues are good for.

Yes, PW is dead. When there are literally 0-3 posts in the Gold forum every day it's a pretty good indication PW is dead. When there are typically two or three CPU teams in PW Gold every preseason, PW is dead. When there are so many non-boosters in PW Gold, PW is dead. When there are so many ridiculous blow-outs in PW Gold, PW is dead.

I've owned teams in all three league types and can tell you from experience PW is the most dull of the three. PW is so devoid of life it's depressing.
