A friend advised me to add Tunnel Vision to my LB via Custom Equipment upgrades... and I want to do it... but I want to make sure it will work for him.

They actually do, quite frequently.

Anyway, to answer the question, there is nothing that prevents tunnel vision from working for LBs. HOWEVER, the impact it will have on your player is simply not enough for you to invest in it. For a blitzer LB, I'd add first step as a bonus SA, and if I wanted another bonus SA, I'd go disguise blitz.

The recent threads I have seen just stayed in this forum. Some they move, some they let be.

Are blitzing LB's doing better in this SIM compared to last season's SIM?

Tunnel vision works for your blitzing CB as much as it does for any player rushing the passer.

You asked if blitzing LB's are doing better in this sim compared to last season's.

And they are doing better. They are doing better at coverin backs on routes, better at reacting to outside runs, and not looking completely retarded.

They are not doing better blitzing the QB

I wouldn't.

Tunnel Vision gives a flat bonus. Even though it's a significantly bigger bonus than Blitz, it's still hardly noticeable on top of the 150+ speed you're already carrying. Basically think of it as another 2-3 equipment points in speed when it actually fires, then ask if that's worth your investment. If you already have First Step and you either have or don't want Disguise Blitz, then it's a valid choice.
