I am changing my OP as Gambler worded it better:

There was another sports sim I was playing ... where the build was compared against the rest of the age bracket, and the #s were normalized to a 100 scale based off that.

- Changes would impact the various ranges much more evenly.

- The sim would look more watchable early on, and would be more likely to retain new customers.

- Coaching at the lower levels of the game would actually VAGUELY resemble later on. As it is right now, it requires completely different schemes ... and I think you might see more coordinators stick with OC/DC'ing ... if they didn't spend their first few tries at it working with dots that act completely retarded, and need to be "tricked" into going to the right areas.

I still see rookie D side dots do the "ice skates" thing and circle 20 yards out of bounds when they're trying to turn. I've never seen even an 8 yr old peewee player do that. If that ~18 agility (which is actually good for the age bracket), were instead being SCALED within that age group ... then problem fixed without a huge number of bandaids.

Put this in the OP? Had really no idea why we needed separate ones if we can't get 1 right, but I see where you're coming from now.

lower levels are competitive. having different sims isn't going to make coordinators want to do shit.

I really should copy what you said and make it my OP. I worded it horribly!! This is what I was trying to get at. Making the game at the lower levels more enjoyable and helping keep new players from quitting.

The SIM already has some differences based on age - passing for one is buffed at lower levels, so what you are asking for exists - Bort & Catch just need to decide if it is a priority or not to tweak it more

also, peewee is very different than rookie, so would you have a separate SIM there too?

1) The passing needs buffed again in my opinion. In our game yesterday (first game of season between 2 equal teams) the QB's had a 30% and 27% completion percentage. One of them was like 12 for 44. That's terrible. The response from someone earlier said you are a fool if you pass at these levels. Well....that needs fixed then in my opinion. Not saying passing should be easy but you shouldn't have to run all the time to win a game.

2) As far as Pee Wee goes I don't play Pee Wee so I can't really give an opinion on that as I know nothing about it at all.
