Hey all. Returning player here. It has been about 2 years since I played GLB and just returned the other day.

Anyway, I bought a team and have a question. I was setting up the Tactics and was trying to figure out a way to assign HBs to specific play calls.

Like, our team has one power back and one speed back, so I want to make sure the power back is in for the plays up the gut and the speed back is in for the outside runs. Is there a way to set that up?

Any help would be much appreciated!

you have to use the Advance AI to do that but yes it can be done. First on your team depth chart there are 3 HB slots.

HB1
HB2

put your power HB in 1 slot and your elusive in another. what I see most teams do is put both HBs in the HB slot. Then use the other 2 to separate them out.

now you can go over to packages and create your own package of plays (elusive package, up the gut package) and add them into the Advanced AI that way OR you can just add the plays you want into the Advanced AI itself.

there will be an option to choose which HB you want in on each play so for elusive you choose the HB slot that your elusive HB was in.

Just be careful because defenses can easily pick up those tendencies and shut your offense down. Use your elusive back to run inside runs as well and your powerback on some pitches too once he gets his speed and agility up more.
