Can we get rid of this option from QB tactics or at least alter them? Throw aways should not happen unless the QB has escaped the pocket. That is a penalty and a loss of yards and down in real life. It robs a defender of a sack, not to mention the opportunity for the offense to make a play.
The throw aways don't make sense and it bothers me. My vote is to get rid of it altogether.
