No one answered because it's really not possible to give you an exact answer that is correct. It depends upon your build plan. The best answer I could give is that it is not enough to ruin your build (in the sense that you could still have a solid Pro level player) if you have an otherwise good build plan, but it is not insignificant either.

ok. thanks for the attempt.

how about over the course of just one season? (first season for the dot)?

i wondered about boosting some players to give an edge for the team thru the season, and then come season end, assuming they have been caught up and taken over by the end of season boosters - i could simply sign replacements for them(the early boosters).
the idea being that next season i would then have a team of the highest level players again for that age group.

It still depends on your build plan, tbh. I would suggest you get the Virtual Player Builder (VPB) script (it is in a post on the front page of the FAQ forum) and just run thru some one season scenarios and find out.

Boosting early your creation season will only give you the advantage early. By the time you reach playoffs and face team's that waited until the playoffs to boost their players, your team dots that boosted early will be out matched. Training gains are much greater at earlier levels. But this is all dependent on how everyone builds there dots the first season.

An agent can wait until day 48 to boost, but during the season he might multi train 2 attributes and every time he levels up naturally he may spend those SP foolishly (like adding them to SA's or spreading them all over the build instead of focusing on his main attribute)

Same could be said for the agent that boost early.

So many different scenarios that can make or break a well built dot.

I suppose there are ways to build players well for 1 season only, that's pretty much what peewee team's do. If you intend to boost early and build for short term (retiring at season end) I would suggest considering to use your bonus tokens to buy extra SP.
