Swap Default on Retirement to Keep Players Name.

Why is this - its easy to accidently wipe your player's name when you meant to keep it due to this default. This either results in frustrated players or support tickets pestering the staff.

Whereas people will usually not mind accidently keeping a players name on the retired dot. So less support tickets and less frustration.

Seems pretty straight forward.

-1 it is no need we all have the option to keep a players name if we want. so the 1 second it takes to do that makes this a complete and utter waste of GLB's time.

The biggest reason why I think this is a bad idea is the amount of people that create 55 dots for their one and done and short term teams. They retire them all at the same time and it's highly unlikely they want to save the names of all those dots.

Yeah this is true.

Maybe have a toggled preference instead, so it will default to one or the other as you select.

I seriously think that this addition to your suggestion basically puts us back to what we have right now. so lock this puppy up and move onto the next unneeded or unwanted Yello1 suggestion.

Big difference between switching it for every dot and having a choice of the default.

Yello1 you and I both are close as far as the number of players we have and how many we deal with each season. this isn't something that is needed and wouldn't save us maybe 1 second during the retirement of a player. so why not focus on something the game needs instead of just trying to make suggestions for the sake of making a suggestion.
