This isn't for the arcade style owners/GMs. This is for the hardcore GM/Owners. If you don't want to scout you don't have to.
I know GLB isn't Madden, but Madden 13 has a scouting system in which every week you earn 2000 Scouting Points to scout for players in the draft. If you scout correctly, you will uncover their good attributes and hopefully have great drafts every year.
I propose the system, just with a different twist. Block all GLB player's attributes viewable from Owners. After every game, Each team will get a certain amount of scouting points to scout your opponent's team's player's attributes. You cannot scout leagues in which you have a team that does not play in. I say earn a very small amount of SP earned each game. Also the attribute cost is dependent to the player's position, for instance, It will cost higher to scout a QB's throwing attribute more than a FS' player's attribute.
Also it will not take two tries to find his full attributes(I.E I scout his awareness, first I get a B+, scout again then see he has an 85, no not that way). When you scout a player's attribute you will immediately see his attribute numerical rating.
If you do not own a team, you may not receive these SP's. If you do not want to use this feature, you do not have to. I realize this can be a bit long to program but I think it would add a very good aspect to the Scout GM title. It would make it worthwhile to have a scout.
