He's my first SS and I'm not sure how good he is. Dr. S says that he sucks.

You're one of those guys who likes jumping... and double stacking on defense is silly.

If you're gonna have 4aeq - this is a great dot. If only 3 - its ok.

Ive been very happy with my SS over the seasons

Can't see the build on that one. I'm not sure why you think double stacking is silly unless you mean you'd rather have a lot more variety in % AEQ. I could see maybe going AF% over the second MT% piece, but I don't want him missing tackles.

sorry bro, build open.

I am a fan of every secondary dot having 1 mt 1 db 1 ff 1 af
my secondary dots rarely miss tackles with 60ish strength and mid 80s tackling. in fact, they all play on balanced and power tackler va.

The philosophy is nothing matters until WL and DCs like to see a dot with all his VAs available so that they can be tailored to the sim and their D. The only time I spend VAs on my pre-WL dots is when they are no brainers like Special Teamer on a returner.

I double up on Deflect and go wrap up.

But my tackle on CBs is only in the 70s.

If you're going to be able to finish a fourth piece of AEQ then it's good for pro, below average for WL (considering it's a dot who has always been in this training system). if you're only going to have three pieces then ... uh oh. I know you don't like taking the first attribute to extremes, which is fine, but that means you should have the second and third attributes in the mid-90s, plus a fourth just over 90. The way you build is still not efficient, so I would recommend joining the VPB forum and maybe reading some guides about how to maximize that. It's not just that you favor a more well-rounded build, but that even by stopping sooner on the primaries your secondaries should be much higher than they are.

As for build style, I personally like more strength on a SS. There will be times when the SS has to take on a bTE, and mid-60s strength makes him a liability when that happens. With more training efficiency I think you could have had the same numbers in every other attribute while also having 84 strength at level 73. If he had that extra strength then it would be a dot I could use.

lol you should.

you like %s right?

yours 54 tkl 7 missed = 7/61 = 11.4%
mine 35 tkl 3 missed = 3/38 = 7.9%

looks like your dot missed a higher % of tackles than mine.

mine also had more PDs and KLs
