15 Home Morale boost from promotions. Most players have morale plusses from salary.

The other team is held to a FIELD GOAL, and the ST players have negatives to their morale.

They are winning by over double the score, three scores, and have 15 morale boost from home promotions alone. Morales are mostly 50 to 60+.

And they start to go negative morale from a field goal that still leaves the bad guys out by three scores.

Thats idiotic.

They should be 110 percent still, lol having fun.

Instead they morale spiralled and we lose the game by 12.

Tone Down Morale. That is a serious suggestion Dadd. Stop squelching my suggestions.

My morale has been toned down after reading that.

why is that so hard to understand?

you do realize that there are a lot of other items that can come into play?

Slow Starter and 2nd wind VA's are a couple and there are others, but I don't feel like looking them up

Doesn't this happen in real life? Your team's morale goes down a bit after your opponent scored?

Not to mention a couple fumbles....one of which led to the opponent scoring again....or the fact that Milla Jovovich looks to have Big Heart since the returns were getting larger with each kick/punt until finally two returns went for TDs while the team was still down by at least 14. Or that there are a bunch of SAs and VAs which sap morale throughout the game, like Aura of Intimidation, for example. Etc. Etc.

Point is, some teams are built for the second half of the game. I've seen it plenty of times in the NFL. I can't count how many times I saw the old New England Patriots get a decent lead in the first half only to collapse in the second half, giving the game away. In the NFC East back during the same time, most scoring didn't even happen until the second half because every team pounded the run during the first half just to wear down the opponent. Then come the middle of the 3rd quarter, the passing game explodes to put a bunch of points on the board.

Looking through the abilities, you can see that GLB allows you build teams that mimic this.

My team got beat so I need to make a suggestion as to how I can prevent that from happening again.

Who can help me come up with that type of lame suggestion?

Sometimes a team will get mad and start to play better after giving up a big play...

In all honesty, morale has always been screwed up. I watch replays every day and it never ceases to amaze me when my team gives up a TD and loses 25 morale and then turns around and scores a TD and gains about 2 or 3 morale. Morale is an element of this game I could do without.

Hate to agree with Dubbie but I've posted the same myself. I completely get WHY morale goes down... what I fail to understand is why, no matter HOW much you score, intercept, sack, force and recover a fumble, float the cheerleader's skirts, or spike the damn gatorade, it virtually NEVER goes up (except for the token 1 to 2 points). So, the way it is now, in a 125 to 124 final score game, both teams commit suicide on the field due to being at -33 morale.

The leaps and bounds yello goes through to try and get his horrible team a chance to win is staggering.

If he would just put that much effort into making his team not suck, he would be a consistent WL champ.
