Before anyone gets started on their rant about why "Casual is Casual", do read.

Have often seen this:

3rd and inches... Pass
4th and inches... Pass
4th and short... Punt

Being that the CPU is not intelligent enough to determine that on 3rd/4th and short, run would be highly preferred, and on 4th and short we might actually want to go for it and not wait until it is the last few minutes of the game down by 36 points.

Presets have this built in, so why is it we cannot have this as an exclusive option that would be used via percentages as like the playbook formations?

Go for it on 4th downs (any distance) - 50%
Go for it on 4th and short (1 yard away) - 80%

Run on 3rd and short - 70%
Pass on 3rd and short - 30%

Would this not be feasible to add to casual?

May edit this later, but this has been something I have thought of for some time.

I am a die hard casual owner, and there is no way I could support this. Part of the lolRegular leagues is the ridiculous amount of unrealistic 4th down attempts as well as their conversion %. I LOVE that it does not happen in Casual.

This I could +1. Just kind of a slight expansion on the current "what is short distance" option available. Nothing wrong with "slight" changes

So basically you want to make casual more like regular leagues/

Leave casual as it is.
If you want more control of your team buy a regular team and setup an AI.

Also think it would make gaming other teams more interesting....

Just as the offense would have these options for 3rd and 4th downs, the defense would have them as well.

Defense

Run Defend on 3rd and short - 50%
Pass Defend on 3rd and short - 50%

4th down is treated like any other 4th down... and if there is a complaint that 4th and inches are too easy to make, then that complaint is not with this suggestion

-1 casual is exactly what it should be. the reason people including myself play casual is to lessen the burden of gameplanning. and if you continue to add crap to casual it then becomes nothing more than a watered down regular team.

Interesting concept that could have some teeth. I'm a +0.5
