I got tired of making pocket passers and decided to make a rushing qb. Here is the build http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4326259

My question is how high would you take agility before moving on to other skills? I was thinking 85.

Should I go speed next or move onto vision since it is another major? Thanks for the help.

I would have taken speed to 85 and than get agility to 85...

85 is overkill. You could stop at 68 and end up with agility in the 90s, so I wouldn't go past 77 at the most and I'd be inclined to stop earlier than that. I went straight to 83 throwing on my dual threat QB and without any more training that ended up at 107 natural by plateau.

You can't pass on the 3 ALG majors. Agility first is the right way to go.

If you're going as a pure rusher, I'd push agility to ~81 to 83. As jd basically mentions, 3 major ALGs are so huge that it's really easy to get that first attribute high. If you are building some throwing ability then you can definitely cut lower to preserve SPs. You'll have plenty of agility.

It may be controversial, but I think I would take vision to ~60 or ~68 before touching speed. You'll have to play around in the VPB, but I imagine you can get some good gains by making that your second move. Definitely long-term train speed, though. You'll want speed at 90 natural (pre-EQ) as a minimum. That'll be your big cost attribute.

Lastly, I'd recommend sticking to fakes rather than trying to build strength high enough for break tackle ability. I see you chose Spin as your extra SA but understand the associated costs. With fakes, the scrambler archetype ALGs really cater to them (agility/vision and then carrying as a minor). With Spin, you'll basically need to swap vision (a major) for strength (a minor). Building up strength could be a bit of an SP drain. Also, you'd have to devote an extra AEQ piece (or two) to +% break tackle (as opposed to just stacking +% fake).

If building a pure rusher with no throwing then you should have plenty of skill points for speed, strength, and carrying. I do agree about taking vision to 61 before getting to speed. The ALGs on speed will be so minimal that your only real progress there will come from skill points + 30% enhanced multi-training.

Thanks guys. I am looking more for a dual type guy so I think I'll go on to vision next since it works both rushing and passing, then throwing and speed. I know it sounds like a thrower who will eventually run, but do you think it could work?

This is basically what I was going for but I just wondered everyone's thoughts. Haven't seen a great deal of GOOD dual threats so I thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks again.

Agility to 77, vision to 61, speed to 87 or 90 would be my choice.

A dual threat probably needed to go throwing first, then agility, then vision, and then speed. At this point you're better off forgetting the throwing and just focusing on rushing, but if you really want to then I would go throwing next.
