I'm back from a long hiatus. What is the best way for me to spend these Bonus Tokens? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

Use tokens to enhance your training of attributes

Use tokens to unlock multi training.

Use tokens to cash in for a skill point if it helps you reach a cap sooner.

Use tokens to purchase AE

Don't waste tokens.....they are needed.

What's the theory on enhancing training of attributes? I'm torn between improving my main attributes and the secondary ones.

Just looking at it from a pure math point of view, you spend 6 BTs on getting the first 10%. 6 BTs are 40% of what you need to buy a SP, so those 6 BTs are worth basically .4 SP. In order to make back that .4 SP, you would need to train an attribute at least 4 points (say from 20 to 24). So long as you train at least 4 points, buying the first enhancement is a good value. You can use the same logic for the next ones, and this is the break down:

10% - 4+ points
20% - 8+ points
30% - 12+ points
40% - 16+ points
50% - 20+ points

Of course, like everything in GLB, it is not quite that simple. In reality, you will rarely trade in BTs for SPs, so the value of a BT is not quite so black and white. Thus, the list above is really more of a guide than a rule.

My personal rule of thumb is that I will 30% enhance the 3 attributes that I open up for multi-training (and thus plan to train for a long time). I will 20% enhance any other attribute that I plan to train at least 10 points worth (pretty much all my secondaries). There are exceptions to this based on my build plan/goals, but that is how I do 90% of my build plans.

Do you normally do 3 or 4 pieces of AE? If it depends on the position than does someone care to layout what positions would be worth the 4 pieces of AE?

I have seen some discussions on 3 vs. 4 AE that disagree with what I do. Thus, take what I say as my thoughts, not GLB's thoughts.

In pretty much every case, I can create as good or better build using 3 AE over 4 AE (at least from a SP + SA point of view). Some people state that 4 AE gets a higher primary since it has 3 more from EQ, but when I do a build, the extra multi-training of the primary seems to equal out to at least 2 or 3 points, and thus makes that benefit the same. Thus, I would only do a 4 AE build if I was building a position that needed 5 % bonus pieces of EQ (4 AE + CE). Even still, for a position like LB that could certainly benefit from 5 % bonuses (2 x MT%, 1 PD%, 1 BB%, 1 FF%), I find that the 3 AE build has better secondaries, and I am willing to drop one of those % bonuses (the FF% if it is a coverage / the PD% if it is a hard hitter) to have the better overall build.

For me, the decision on what and how far to % enhance is more about training. I might 50% enhance Punting on a Punter to help it get to 100 quicker and get an extra couple of points out of the ALGs. I have some build plans where I unlock a 4th attribute for multi-training which allows me to swap out some of my main three while also swapping out my floating attribute. In that scenario, I would 30% enhance that 4th attribute from the get go, knowing that the training gains will be significant. Those are the types of things I consider and that make up the 10% exceptions.

I can't see a situation where I would do more than 4.

I think it still depend on position.
Some position like LB need str/spd/agi/vis/tak all be high, so you will need to unlock more...
