I dont mind setting up scrims for my coordinators, but it would be nice for them to be able to setup their own. Right now i have to have one of them as a co owner so they can setup scrims but then i still have to setup some for the other one.

Could have another checkbox when assigning GMs that allows them to setup scrims and quick scrims. Would take the flex out of the flex fund or if there wasnt any in there, theyd have to use their own flex.

or

2 checkboxes. 1 for letting OC/DC setup scrims, another for letting those scrims use the flexbank. That way if youre an owner who is scared of his OC/DC for some reason like some people in the thread, you dont have to worry about losing any flex from your funds.

-1 absolutely not from if it can come from the team flex fund... to much chance of some rage quitting jerk depleting the fund and then owners having to deal with support etc. It won't happen to one of your teams or mine but it would happen to somebody. Only way to avoid would be for the owner to OK each scrim individually, and then what's the point? Or I guess you could limit it to 2 per season or something or allow it only for the 2 the team gets for free anyway.

but a big +1 for any GM (or any agent on the team for that matter) if it comes from their own FPs/RPs

True. I don't want my team's flex points to go down if I didn't buy a scrimmage.

I guess you could have a checkbox that allows the owner to give permission for a coordinator to tap into the team flex fund.

I gots an idea now... just too lazy to suggest it..

dont trust the coordinator enough? dont give them the option to setup the scrims...

My DC has been working on my teams for 5 seasons now, maybe 6? I trust him to do anything, same with my 2 OCs. They can have whatever powers they want, this one would be helpful to us who hire people we like/know and not randoms. Like i said, its an option. You can still setup the scrims yourself if you want, I for one would rather my DC/OC setup scrims when they need to. Hell, my DC pays for most of the scrims anyway and im usually the one who burns through the flex.

this suggestion is for owners who dont hire shitty GMs they cant trust.

that's all well and good for you and me and the vast majority of owners, but your arguments basically accept that there would in fact be problems with noob owners (or just naive ones) getting ripped off, and I highly doubt GLB is going to put anything in place that would facilitate that.

Letting OCs/DCs (or anyone) schedule scrims is a good suggestion, just let people pay from their own FPs/RPs, not the team's fund (plus, if the other GMs could do this there wouldn't be as much need for the team fund anyway).

Yep, it's actually very simple.

this might be the worst post on GLB.

they let ppl CFO, i could easily say im a CFO, join a team and bankrupt them... GLB has that in the game. I could say im an OC and punt every down, GLB put that in the game.

Every GM can screw over the team, this doesnt have to be used if you dont want it to be. Noobs can just do it the way it has to be done right now. Also itll teach them to play the game before trying to run a team.

yes but there is a difference between flex which you paid for and money on your team. Not saying I agree with him totally, but I do see that he does have a point, and that it really isn't the worst post I have ever seen.
