Invitational Tournament:

Invite Criteria:

We will start by inviting all of the gold teams that either win a playoff game or finished in the regular season top 4 on either side.

Invitational Schedule:

Group Play: By Day 13
Quarterfinal: By Day 19
Semifinal: By Day 25
Final: By Day 29

Format:

We will have 12 teams that are split into 3 groups of 4 teams each. The three group winners and second place finishers will all advance to the next round. Then, the third place finishers will be ordered by record and then point differential to decide who gets the 2 remaining spots. Then, it will be single elimination from there to decide a champion starting with a quarterfinal round.

Also, I changed the format to allow for a quarterfinal round. Now, the group winners and runners-up will make it along with the 2 best 3rd place teams based on record as the first tiebreaker and point differential as the second. The teams will be seeded based on their finishing place in the group, followed by record and then point differential.

Being in a division with 3 boosted teams is utter crap.
Should have put the non-boosteds in their own division, since they can't compete with boosters until level 8. The way it is pretty much guarantees elimination in the preliminary games.

I guess, but that isn't how this format works. I seeded based on last season's results which factored in how NBNC teams did. This is not a NBNC tournament though, that is what the NBNC tournament is for. Also, if I did your suggestion, it's not fair to the teams that spend money to boost to be honest. Again, this is why there is a NBNC tournament.

NBNC division winners would still have to face the boosted teams after the preliminary, but at least it wouldn't be level 1 vs 4.

Also, give me a break. Not fair for boosted teams? They play at a 3 level advantage and you talk about being fair?
