It just occurred to me. When you're looking at your opponent's team's players and after while you forget about them, but then later on during the season, you remember the player you were looking at, want to look at him again, you will have to remember the name AND the team he was on, and by searching for him in the search page, or looking for the team he was on.

My suggestion is to have a button that will add the player you are currently viewing to your shortlist. Now, this player gets added to your shortlist. Now, create a new tab on the team homepage entitled "Shortlisted Players" that only the team's staff can view(so that others won't peek at what players you're looking at). This tab will show the player's name, position, age, height, etc. But this will also display whether he's under contract or not. This tab will only display players you or your staff have shortlisted.

What this feature allows you to do is that it allows you to shortlist players so you can decide who to offer free agents contracts for. Want to add all the players active in GLB? Sure, but good luck finding the players you only need.

You see this on some home sports PC text sim games. This would really help in the free agent process so we can decide who to target, etc. By just going to the shortlist tab, you can click on any player that you have shortlisted and go to the player's homepage from there.

Add a notes section to record your conversations with them.

Add a Team Short List to dot profile pages for the agent for the same thing going the other way (in addition to the Notes, too much to put in there already).

1) by the time you get back to that person if they're any good they'd be taken
2) if you want nots, you can copy the link in a thread in your team forum with whatever notes you need or lists of guys you want to keep in touch with
3) you could also just send them a PM expressing possible interest (without an offer) and a record of that would be in your outbox

Add some spice to the game, don't block the shortlist from your own teams players - let them see what the staff is up to.

As for #3... mailboxes get full fast.
