Hello newer player here. When your setting up your packages under AI how do you use the depth chart drop down? I see for example RB, RB1, RB2, RB3 and so on for the TE, QB etc.

My question. If you put the depth Chart marker on RB does that mean which every running back is in the game will carry??

So If I move it to RB2 for example thats the number two on the depth Chart??

Clarification would be great thanks guys!

no. theres custom slots. so say you have 3 HBs.

to make it easy, we'll say you have an elusive back, scatback and powerback.

in the HB slot, you put the elusive back. In HB1 you put the scatback, in HB2 you put your powerback.

so in the AI if you want your powerback to get the ball, you use HB2 in the dropdown menu when making plays. If you want the scatback to get the ball, HB1 is what you would choose.

As stated above......GLB allows you to specify which HB or which TE or which FB is in the game for a particular play or package.

You do this by using the custom slots on the depth chart. An example that a lot of OC's might do is something like this:

1) All elusive HB's on the roster go into the HB basic depth chart
2) A Powerback might be put into RB1
3) The scatback go into RB2

You can mix it up however you want. Same applies to the TE and FB position. Once you have decided which player gets put into which custom slot then you can go back to your AI and select the appropriate custom slot so you can make sure the right player is in the game for a particular play call.
