Basic build plan for any .5 ALG dot
If going strength first then pick one pound below the maximum. If picking speed first then pick one pound above the minimum. Enhance the first attribute to 10%, train intense three times, enhance to 20%, then train intense until you have a nearly full bar at 32.9x. Convert 15 bonus tokens to a skill point and cap to 48.9x. Then boost. Next season you'll enhance to 30% and normal train, then second cap, then continue normal training, then third cap. At that point you'll unlock and enhance your attributes for multi-training.

Although I guess now that you can boost to 79 without boosting the first off-season then maybe that changes. If you're not boosting to level 4 that first off-season then just normal train instead of intense.

Either is valid, although speed DEs really haven't been the same since Bort eliminated the extra-wide DE alignment when he nerfed the DPC back in the day. I would go agility first. And as for training your first attribute, you won't stop training it until it's 100 natural, but you will switch from training just that attribute to training it and three others in a four-way multi-train either after second or third capping that first attribute.

You dont have to make it one pound above minimum. You can cap on 49.00. So after boost youre at 50.50 instead of 50.40. Either way both builds finish day 48 at a 200EL.

I "think" jd does that for where a dot is at 2nd or 3rd cap.... Not sure but remember him explaining something to that nature before, and now that 2 people have brought it up I would bet he is gonna be back here to tell us why

Correct. If you do the weight trick then you can get to 68.9x at level 7, whereas if you don't then you'll be at 68.00. It's not a huge deal in the long run, but helps some.

I have heard/read a few times that if you are going for an extreme build that it is beneficial to Intense train that attribute all throughout the first season. I don't know if it would be the best route to go though.

Literally until it reaches 100? Or until it's done putting SPs into it? (like 84 or so)?

No, no, no, no. The only reason you should ever intense train is if you're boosting to 4 that first off-season because intense training is the only way you can get high enough quickly enough to first cap before boosting. Under the old system there were actually some sweet spots where intense training gave pretty good value in the 80s, but now it's just not worth it.

100, although you can stop anywhere from 95 to 100 if you want. You'll stop investing skill points in it at 77, 80, 83, or 85 depending upon your build plan, but you'll continue training it as part of your four-way multi-training.

If you're going agility first, though, I guess you wouldn't fool with weight trickery. You could go speed first. *shrug* In any case, the new system isn't nearly as complicated as the old one. If you're boosting to level 4 on d48 then you'll spend that time intense training your first attribute. If you're not, then you can just normal train it. Then you'll keep normal training that first attribute through your first several levels before switching to four-way multi-training (don't forget to continue enhancing the attributes you're training). I generally choose to unlock my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd attributes for my four-way. Then with the free spot I rotate different attributes with single enhancement to get each of them up into the high 20s. Keep doing that until you're level 45-50.
