Does Superior Vision give any useful benefit for a coverage player on Special Teams?

Even if it does, it's not a top choice for ST players. Reason? Read the description of the SA. It almost exclusively is a CB or Safety thing. Not to say it isn't useful in other places, just most useful for those positions. I would much prefer to spend my points on other things for STOPs.
If, however, you're asking about it in the context of selecting players for ST depth chart, then yeah... it's not useless. Just don't expect huge things from it.

What WOULD you use on ST dots?

Trying to retrofit some older dots, not sure what to shop for, and what existing pieces like SV to sell and replace.

Yeah, I don't care for break block on STOPs.

I would personally add HeadHunter to that list.

Cut Block not being on any lists here is the biggest fail.

IIRC the last set of changes nerfed Cut Block in as much as it no longer works on special teams at all.

IIRC.

^this^
And I'd also add to the list the following;
Change Direction (consider how important it is to be able to not lose speed when needing to close on a returner... or, if returning, how to not lose speed while avoiding blocks and tackles.)
First Step (again, get going as fast as possible as soon as possible from any stopped position. Not a huge thing, but a decent one.)
Shed Blocks ( a great one to have for the defensive side of the ST game. Kinda worthless for the offensive side.)
Wall (not sure if it works on ST's... but, if it does, it would be a good one to have.)
Wrap Up Tackle (good counterpart to diving tackle... cuz not all tackles are diving tackles.)
And lastly, Closing Speed (This one is only good for your defensive players who play ST's... and only for your fastest players. This could be the difference between the returner making a TD and you catching him from behind.)

Almost forgot Big Hit (again, defensive players only.)
