Been awhile, at what age can a player multi train? And how? Thanks.

Age 0. It is not age dependent. It is BT dependent. If you create on Day 40, you could be multi-training within a couple of days if you want, but the player will still be 0 days old, since players do not age in the offseason.

How come the multi train isn't part of my selection? Is it because it was a free player?

you have to spend BTs to unlock the attributes that you want to multi-train. You can do that by clicking the Bonus Tokens link from the player profile page, then in the Multi-Attribute Training section, clicking the Upgrade button beside the attributes you want to unlock. The first one will cost 6 BTs, the second one will cost 12 BTs, the third one will cost 18 BTs. You can train one more attribute than you unlock.
