Not all suggestions make it to voting. It would be good to have some inital idea of a suggestion's popularity right there in the OP automatically. We have this already in GD/FFA land. Maybe just modify it for this forum.

I think we take what GD/FFA has and mainly apply it to the OP. After a while if one suggestion gets enough thumbs up, then maybe the bort/catch can take a look at it and see if there is potential to add it to the game.

Right now the suggestion voting isn't great because it only has the ones put up there by catch ect. They are good suggestions but there are many more that were good and not thrown up for a vote.

This could be a preliminary to gauge the interest in it

The only issue with implementing the FFA voting system here would be it would become a popularity contest for people rather than for ideas.

not trying to be a smart alec with you here but how in the hell would I know why it hasn't been implemented. I simply made the suggestion a while back and discussed and debated the suggestion. If you want to take the time to go find the thread where I suggested and take the time to read the suggestion. then maybe you could answer your question for all of us that supported the suggestion the first time or 2 it was suggested.

And, I wonder if it would change the very idea of the forum in the first place? Many of these 'suggestions" get tweaked as time passes... and get added to as better ideas meld into a better suggestion. Many times a suggestion that makes it isn't the same as the OP. A bad OP has turned into something good simply because people liked the "idea"... but not the way it was suggested. Right now, it's WAI and I'm not sure voting would improve that.

Good point. Alot ideas have good potential combined with weak initial concepts. A combination of vocal and constructive criticism and refinement turn them into decent additions to the game.

So, things are fine as they are. -1 for the moment in my opinion.
