How about custom D slot for CB.
I want one zone CB in my roster, and I want him playing only that, but that can be anything from CB1-CB5 depending on the D-Play.
It should not be difficult to add one more custom slot.

they've mentioned many times they won't be adding more custom slots. this isn't the first time this has been suggested.

All the more reason not to have NGTH that locks or deletes threads.

If the same thread was there for people to see and comment on they would be at least someone less likely to repeat the thread constantly.

wrong there is no way to keep those threads on the first page due to your endless supply of threads in here. people just are to lazy to go look at the NGTH list and make the suggestion before knowing there suggestion has been suggested a million times.

Well, for some people who have a life its just easier to ask a question, and let people with no life like you, and who have NGTH list in their memory go and count all the threads in the history of GLB that had been made about this topic and give me the numbers.
It was just a simple Q. If it is on NGTH list just say so...

Admin likely already has a lengthy backlog of things to work on. I feel that is one of the reasons the NGTH list was made - to get agents to stop suggesting ideas that GLB is not ready for. Maybe it will be eventually, but current circumstances are prohibitive. Not just from a workload or coding angle, but also because of the effect it would have on the game - in and out of sim, including the forums.

For instance, it was suggested that custom slots for the O-line be added so archetypes could be used on specific plays. Now we have a suggestion for custom D slots because DCs want to do the same thing. There has been a bit of clashing between OCs and DCs in the forums over the years where it becomes like Congress adding pork barrel projects to satisfy everyone just to push a bill through into law. The net result ends up being garbage that NO ONE likes. Trying fix something like that after the fact just results in an even bigger mess.

For what it's worth, I believe this was ruled NGTH, but it is not posted on the list - along with a few other topics which I have seen ruled NGTH myself. The list needs updating. Last update was April 12th. So I did some digging for your reference.
