My co-owner and I wanted to take turns paying the renewal fee for a team. Can the co-owner take over/pay for the renewal after 2 seasons. Also, will the team keep its place in competitive leagues and all of its trophies it previously won?

Support is able to transfer ownership however I am not sure if they will accommodate in this scenario. Shoot'm a ticket and they'll help you out.

You and the co-owner have to message support. You have to express the desire to hand the team over to the co-owner and the co-owner has to let the admins know he/she wants possession of the team. I doubt they will allow you to continue doing this season after season, though.

after 2 seasons, do what was posted here and contact support. 2 seasons later, contact them again. maybe they don't keep track, maybe they do. Don't tell them you want to do it every other season.

Or, have 1 guy sell team back when he knows the other is online. Have the other guy buy it back. The flex bank stays from owner to owner so that isn't a problem. But I am not sure if trophies transfer when teams get sold back. Pretty sure they do when support transfers ownership

dunno

Someone can purchase or be gifted accounts and keep a team indefinitely without spending a dime. I would hope the admins keep track of activity like this.

Best thing to do, and you didn't hear it from me, if you trust the other guy, transfer the cost to him via paypal, and let him pay

what does that have to do with the OP? 2 particular owners swapping ownership....now if every 2 seasons they sold to someone new that would be different, but not sure how that could be tracked by mods. Hell DubJ, you know really well about how often teams get sold back, team's change hands all the time right? I am sure there are existing teams that have had new owners a dozen times already without them being recycled.

I didn't accuse the op of shit, but rather stated that allowing teams to be passed around multiple times can easily be exploited.

And by the way, my team was not handed over to anyone. It was fucking stolen from me while I was inactive despite the fact I had a co-owner and coordinators in place. That's why after I returned I demanded they give me back the Jazz Cats.

Just saying I think allowing a team to be passed around every single season (whether it be 2 users or 20) is just asking for abuse.

well fwiw the OP asked if every TWO seasons

they can for sure be allowed to do that once (transfer ownership) , if another 2 seasons later they wanted to transfer back they could try . Still, one of those 2 are paying for it. I do not see where gifted or purchased accounts come in to play in the OP's scenario. If every season the team was getting transferred to a new owner, yea that could be a little fishy.

That is actually pretty stupid, tbh.
