Warrior General Games

The suggestions forum should have more than just the epic sub forum. There should be a sub for Sim related suggestions, site related suggestions, hell even a jokes suggestions one. Organizing this forum and cleaning it up would really help it out I think. That way you don't have people constantly bumping there idea back to page one.

If people don't really know where to put their suggestion you'd still have the main forum. That way a mod or admin could move it to where it needs to go, this board can be managed much in the same manner as the bugs forum. This would streamline the process for the mods and admins so that they don't have page after page to sift through.

Actually like it the way it is for the most part. So -1.

and all the regulars come in, "I don't want change, it's bad! status quo! status quo!"

And they don't offer any substantial qualification for their objection. That's a personal pet peeve of mine: people who issue a negative without real explanation so you can understand their point of view.

Then again, two of them have signatures proclaiming them as Luddites, so I guess that explains it for them.

I'd be all right with more sub forums tbh, and have mentioned it to admins before.

well most of the time if you do try to express the reasons you disagree with the suggestions people make in this forum. it ends up turning into a argument instead of just a discussion. then some of the childish ones start PMing you and threatening to get you banned and so on. but I will be your huckleberry on this and I will explain my thoughts as to why I said -1 from me.

1.) If you made more sub forums in here in would make it harder to keep up with suggestions that you try to keep up with. basically for example a Mod comes in and decides that a suggestion is nothing more than a joke and moves it. well lets say I had thought it was a legit suggestion so now I have to go through 3 or 4 different sub forums to try to find it instead of just the 1 now.
2.) If there were sub forums and Mods were moving threads to them then that would open up the usual BS of the Mods were picking on someone or they weren't treating everyone the same.

there are more reasons I could state but I am at work and do not want to waste alot of time addressing this suggestion.

Those two said it pretty well, IMO. I will elaborate anyway, I see no benefit and I like it the way it is. Different people bitch when we give a reason and then some bitch if we don't. Get over it.

No you wouldngo into the jokes sub forum instead of the one you put it in. And way to shit on mods acting like they taking picking on someone more seriously that their mod job.

So hatch myd and greywolf all like disorganized messes. That's cool. I also like how since they hang out here they think there opinion means Dick. Note that I did t ask for anyones opinion so your -1s were just fine. You also don't have to respond to this post. As a matter of fact please don't respond.

why do you get so defensive when someone doesn't agree with you? there is no reason for that kind of childish behavior. seriously this is a suggestions forum you make one and people respond. and no you didn't ask for anyones opinions but someone else did that commented in the suggestion. so get the stick out of your butt and be happy.

You seem to be accepting the fact that GLB users are intelligent enough to sort their own suggestions into categories. You would be wrong. The fact that joke suggestions, NGTH suggestions, and other wastes of time are here prove that GLB users on average don't care enough to in fact figure out what category would be appropriate. You would just end up with 4 or 5 sub-forums looking the same as here. More chaos spread over a larger area.

Now you might believe an option would be have Mods do the categorizing. Again, you would be wrong, with a few exceptions like JC, Chys, Big, and Doobas, most of them don't do what little responsibilities they do hold unless they have a personal grudge against a person.

The fact is.. with the exception of the semi-weekly moments when Yello comes off his medication, most good ideas stay towards the first few pages. If you are constantly searching for your idea past page 2 and constantly self-bumping then I suggest you look at the possible reasons..

1. Your idea sucks. Pay attention to this reason Treeboy.
2. Your idea is old and dated. Maybe in Voting limbo already.
3. Your idea was good and garnished all the support it can get. Face it, Bort doesn't care.

So, I reiterate, I like things as they are.
