What does it matter, so long as your players are getting maximum XP (which they are)? Sign 1 season contracts and move to better teams if there's a problem.

From what I've seen in the past, you will come across an inactive owner at least once in your GLB lifetime. When you find yourself signing with bad owners/teams regularly it's time to conduct a self audit.

Ditto.
And given the ages and levels of your dots, you would be lucky to have anyone sign most of them. Three of them should have been retired already. Another is bit old for his level....he'll never see level 79. He's got about 25 days to reach level 69 or 72. Looks like he skipped boosting for a season or two. Only one is on-level for his age, and his EL is a bit low. He's not even the one that appears to be on the "deadbeat" team.
Want on a good team? Build better dots and nurture them rather than leave them to waste at level 60 while 400+ days old. Just to reach that, he had to boost at some point. Highest level attainable for a non-booster is 52, if I remember correctly. Retire him, and get the refund on those points.

I think he means "dead beat owner" as in the team is awful because management doesn't do anything and someone just wants off it. Now when it comes to having one of "ur best players" on an awful team, question is... could it be why they were recruited?
Have seen a few teams that just sign awful dots just so they can have an awful team. Balances out the ratio

First off, I think it's pretty lulzy that the op called the owner a deadbeat and then hasn't logged on since he posted that. By the way dahman, the owner he was referring to had not logged on for weeks but has logged on since the op.
Now that we got that out of the way...The FA market is so terrible teams will pretty much sign anyone. hint hint
The problem with this game is too many users who have never owned, coordinated, or figured out how to build a decent player don't have the first clue as to how this game operates. As an owner I've ran into more than my share of these type of users. I can't remember how many PMs I've received from someone with a poorly built dot that was signed out of desperation raging about their dot not starting. I tell them all, GLB is like anything else in life. You get out of it what you put in it.
If you want to log on no more than 3 minutes every two or three days just to dump a few SPs, you're most likely going to build terrible dots. You build terrible dots, your options are limited. You will either have to sign with a terrible team,be a back-up/STOP for a mid-range team, or waste your time in lolD-leagues.
The bottom line is that you, as an agent, are responsible for doing your homework when it comes to finding the right team for your dot. There are many telling signs that a team might not be a good team to sign with. When an owner only has one or two dots and never had one over lvl. 50, the team has not so much as one lolGM, the team has tons of losses by very large margins, ect... the least you can do is PM the owner. This mentality that you should be able to willy nilly sign wherever and it's on someone else to make it all work out is laughable.
Just as in the real world, you have to make your player marketable and find him the right job.

I would worry about more of this:
Two days after signing with your team, getting a PM saying "hey bro, can you release me, my friend just bought a team, I want to play on his team"
Say no, I can't cut your player, cause they aren't enough players to replace you, there is a six day waiting period, I already released two players, ect.
This is a terrible owner, I wanna opt out of the contract.

And then you run into the problem of defining a "dead beat" owner. If my awful player isn't getting 100 snaps a game but we are winning, does that really make him a bad owner? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Oops, better edit this. Apparently someone is reporting people for saying bad things about the op's dot and mods are banning them. I can only assume the op has been banned for 4 days since he called out a user in the first post. The owner in question was obvious since the op said he had long been inactive and a quick check revealed which one he was calling a "dead beat".

Oh wait, I called out an owner one time in an obscure league forum and received 7 days. Better ban the op for 7 days imo.
