As 100% of the human population is either dominately left or right handed, how about giving the left or right option to the dots? In the real world, what dominant hand a player has can effect the position he/she/it plays, i.e. a left handed offensive lineman tends to play on the left side of the line. There good be a advantage/disadvantage for each player in or out of position.

While not ENTIRELY "not true at all" ( some RL football players do feel better playing to their handed strength), it has so little merit in american style football that I believe it's one of those "effort is not worth gain" things. It is much more important to futbol (soccer), baseball, and golf than it will ever be in the NFL (or here).

unless you're a quarterback. in which case the whole makeup of the Oline is flipped. but you already get to choose SA's and such so this would be a non-issue as far as the game is concerned.
