Ok so I know alot of people will say no and bitch about how the offense has too much this or that. Also not sure if this has been suggested before. Anywho, I think it would be cool if the offense was able to script the first 10 plays of the game (for them). It would be optional to script up to 10 plays to be ran prior to the rest of the AI kicking in. Real teams at all levels do this. The defense would still be able to defend against those plays just like anything else.

in order to get it to do as I am suggesting, you would have to get the time, down, and distance just right

only thing you would need is the time. You're asking the first 10 plays of the game to be xx, just do an input for the first 5 minutes of the game and evenly output the plays you want. In theory it's the same thing for the most part (obviously not necessarily in order and obviously odds aren't always perfect).

Why ?
Dotball is not football. You do not to establish the run early in the game so you can throw play action later.
_____________
btw, you cannot do it in the AI that the question who get the kickoff will destroy any attempt.

teams dont always do it to establish the run or anything else. Some teams do it to see it they can take advantage of a mimatch early or an opponents weakness based on scouting to get on top early.

And I am sure there are tin of other reasons.
Still dotball irrelevant.
