Feeling the pain of Pro leagues and the lack of FA players.

Solution: (maybe its in the epic volume of epic suggestions, but here goes)

Allow Agents to purchase boosted players (level 60 -70+) for the Pro or World leagues. Training points and SP would be available to assign once the player is built.

Maybe there is an up-charge on FP that would not be refundable at retirement so nothing is taken away from the lower leagues and the "fun" of starting from scratch with a level 1-4 player.

There has to be an answer to the lack of players at the higher levels.

Thoughts???

Bort floated that idea himself before (though level 40).

I'd still like to see it myself.

I would only like to see it based upon the fact that those players acknowledge they miss out on all training gains from Lvl 1-40 (or whatever).
So sure, you get to the end game faster but your dots will not be as good as the people who took the long road.

My point is to let the agents build a higher level player but make them pay more for it if they want the player now. Training and all. It would cost more but the benefit would be that you would get a developed player now...instead of waiting for 10 seasons. There would be no fall off in quality of player. Teams would then be able to back fill players at the Pro League level without relying on the ever shrinking FA pool when their agents retire, quit GLB, etc.....

And then he NGTH'd it, based upon mod locks of this subject in the past.

But I like the concept myself +1

Has nothing to do with what level you start at......

And my point was 'Not unless you made these players a lesser level.' Building up to the end game is part of the process. You want Instant Players just add Money...just not a fan of the throw money at it concepts.
Also, I pretty much see the same teams on the Pros and World leagues season to season. Sure, some teams will rinse and repeat...but they tend to be back in the Pros again in about 7-8 season (if not sooner). I say let fresh blood up there more, but this concept would basically kill it.

now I don't play many RPGs, but pretty sure all of them you start off at the bottom level and have to level up over time...

Interesting idea.

Not sure if I agree with the NIRTS (need-it-right-this-second)/911 emergency/immediate gratification dots starting at the top, though.

In my opinion, it gives an advantage to a person who can spend a butt-load of flex and create a team full of pro level dots compatible to the current season sim, compete a season or 2, then re-boot and start all over.

Kind of like the rich man's version of pee-wee.

Just double the cost of making your any level but level 1 dot. If people want to spend double the money to create a full team at any level, have at it. I like the idea of being able to fill in spots on your roster to have a quality team.
