First off, see my old posts about totally revamping chemistry, giving teams things to do to repair chemistry, VAs to boost chemistry, that have been posted from season to season. Chemistry as it is blows, needs to be fixed.

But lacking that, lets at least make it be less of a long term problem.

Extend the two point per day recovery to 100 from 70.

Take half a season off the penalty.

Right now if you change half your roster, or 22 guys, on Day 42, then your team is still suffering from 10 to 21% reduction to the performance of one or both squads for Game 1 of the next season, and still as much as a 1% hit for game TEN.

Consider that teams will pay millions of dollars for such a 1% boost and can only do it twice a season because it is so powerful, does it REALLY make sense that for what in GLB is a every season occcurence for many teams the penalty is TEN TIMES HIGHER on game day and lingers around for 60% of the season - ruining the teams chances at playoffs and ensuring high turnover again the next season?

Whereas if you just extend the 2 points per day to 100, then the penalty on day one is still a ridiculously over powered 6-12% but at least its goes away entirely by Game 4, only ruining a fifth of the season and still giving the team some hope of making the playoffs.

I mean come on, in a real NFL situation, that would be the equivalent of spending over 90 days in Mini Camp,Training camp, preseason and mid season practices, and playing scrimmages as well as 4 preseason games, 3 regular season games together.

Thats enough time together not to be penalized.

+1 this idea to reduce the impact of the idiocy of chemistry

Chemistry isnt broken. Teams who stay together should be rewarded and its not like teams haven't replaced 50 dots and still made the playoffs in wl or win a trophy in pro, where bigger attributes mean bigger reduction from chem

youd still be rewarded. Half of the agents on my team went inactive early in the season because they were fed up with GLB. I had to recruit and entire new roster for semi pro elite so now we have to deal with having maybe 80 chem come playoff time IF we even make it that far? Its ridiculous. Maybe the first few games my chem should be low but it shouldnt be low all season long.

For a newish owner with a lot of good agents helping me out, its bullshit to finally make it into elite and have to worry about getting my ass kicked just because everyone rage quit. Chem should definitely improve a lot faster so we still have a chance at making playoffs and staying in a top tier league so i dont have to play shitty cpu teams.

There is a huge distance between "Not Being Rewarded" and having the other team suffering a 20% reduction in attributes and skills where a happy medium can be found.

My OP is one such happy medium.

Or do you think your team sucks so much that a 12% edge is too low???

We literally replaced every dot last season except for kicker and punter

We won the silver trophy in eepl. And even early season we were pretty good

chemistry is 1% per 10% so that most you'll ever be down is 9%, i've recruited entire teams after the season has started and still been fine on chemistry by the playoffs. its there for a reason.

Okay thats true I was forgetting the exact mechanics.

However my point still stands. Moving 22 men on your roster means you are still suffering a 2.1% loss, two point one times the boost received from the multi million gamebuck expense maximum game day promotion that is so powerful that its limited to two games a season. But that same team would suffer as much as a 2.1%, 1.9%, 1.7%, 1.5%, 1.3%, 1.1% for the first six games of the season and still suffer more or equal to the second most extreme and also limited game day promotion of .5% boost, for games 7, 8 and 9.

Its moronic.

Football teams are games for young men, in leagues fueled by free agency (or graduation if college or football). It is not a sport that requires people to know each others life histories or get their menstrual cycle in sync (which would still happen in the shared lodging preseason anyway).

What Bort was trying to simulate is not that big a deal in Football. Its talked about, its real, but its not a two to nine percent reduction to the entire frakking team's performance issue.

There are other ways to simulate the chemistry thing that does exist. I have suggested them before. And none of them would be as impactful to the game as this stupid frakking system.

I ain't getting enough plus ones.

Canon Jim may be in trouble.
