This is the best pass I've seen in a long while on GLB (and the highlight voting seems to agree), and it appears to be the result of a bad pass.

This should be a perfect pass. This is exactly how receivers should be led (but rarely are) in GLB. If a receiver gets separation, it should mean something. The passing mechanic currently seems very biased towards underthrowing / not leading the receiver well, allowing defenders to easily close the gap and not need to worry about giving the WR any cushion. I almost never see a pass overthrown where QB was trying to lead receiver but put a bit too much on it... seems that should be nearly as common as an underthrown ball where the receiver has to slow up for it (which instead is the standard).
I suggest the passing/leading receiver mechanic be adjusted to throw more in front of the receiver like it does on this "bad pass" play. If the receiver doesn't have Catch-In-Stride and more frequently slows down after catch (unlike what we see here) to get tackled, that's fine... but that shouldn't impact the passing/leading mechanic itself.
(Example from same game of the usual GLB mechanic, a "good" pass: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2014024&pbp_id=8736437)
