seems like a good thing to do to be able to take advantage of the ARCHe's and make the game a bit more flexible and productive ....

edit .... also a custom slot differentiating the LS on fg's and the LS on punts ...

I would say that it's not realistic in MOST football because of the drop off in skill between the starters and the back-ups. If teams had the talent, I'm sure they would. NOT changing personel to give yourself an advantage when you have the opportunity seems unrealistic to me.

+1 to the OP, but they would have to make it possible to edit pretty much every position, that might be an issue.

my backups are usually the equal level and skill of "starters" BECAUSE that is what you have to have to win .... and they all play equal amounts of time because that is what we are stuck with ......

..... it's kind of silly to make it just a crap shoot as to whether you have pass rushers or run stuffers defending on any play

also the same for the o line .... to not be able to use your pass defenders and run blockers exclusively in those situations is a waste .....

its not realistic to have 5 linenmen dedicated to run block and 5 linemen dedicated to pass block. this doesnt happen in real life which is y this suggestion unrealistic.

NGTH, but since Mat took it off the list, we might as well revisit it every season or so.

no, it's not realistic to have 5 dedicated to each, but it is plenty realistic to have 6 good line men and sub one in over another in certain packages. +1, but still NGTH, as mentioned before.

and I am just talking about adding to the GoalLine customs and having selections such as LG1 , LG2 , RG1 , RG2 ... LOT1 , LOT2 .... C1 , C2 .... etc .... nothing fancy ....

it would help the game tremendously

this will create a mandatory 10 OL dots per team. 5 pass blocking, 5 run blocking - everybody will do it, so it doesn't make sense in the slightest.
