For every dot over 4 lined up with instructions to blitz there should be an exponentially increased chance of drawing them offsides in addition to an increased vision check to get off the line on time the farther you are from the center.

Game needs less penalties, not more.

The game needs to add a premium for exploit defenses.

People complain the outside run is dead, screens are mostly dead, and the hurries are out of control but -1 the OP? This suggestion doesnt prevent people from aligning their D in that manner, it only provides a penalty for doing it every snap. Blitzing 5-7 dots from the LOS would necessarily mean an increase in offsides penalties. Blitzing from the corner or safety position 6-8 yds AWAY from the center and getting off the line perfectly everytime is unrealistic.

I can't figure out what perceived problem the OP is intending to address.

The suggestion really makes no sense.

HOWEVER.

Dots should be prone to penalties more, especially when right up on the LOS and the VA hard count should pay off on those dots.

If the sim ever got to the point of dline doing anything again. Oline would be more prone to penalties as a defender beats them for sacks and tackles.

Really more needs to be done with the opening sequence of the oline/dline interaction. Right now it doesn't seem like there is any opening tick roll to who gets off the snap quicker.

You say it makes no sense and then suggest the same thing?????
