BC Cats 5-3 vs. South Texas Thunder 6-1-1
BC has changed from a ferocious Lion to a Cat and is coming off a strong win against the EST. Look for a passing attack out of BC. Their running game is just not seeming to get off the ground. Under the law of averages they get 80 yards per game. Realistically they only get about 50. Look for South Texas to exploit that weakness.
South Texas is arguably the most well rounded person in the BBB9 averaging 27 points per game their offense is explosive With a starting lineup averageing level 19. His defense gives up only 166 yards through the air. Look for them to focus on the pass with BC's weak running game.
BC 17 - South Texas 27(3-36)
Houston Outlaws 6-2 vs. Cary Carpetbaggers 4-4
Houston is coming of a hard loss last week against Honolulu. Luckily for them they verage 30 points per game however Cary only gives up 14. Houston is led by QB Freddy Kruger who averages 232 yards through the air. Thats the good The bad is that for every TD he throws he already threw 2 INT's. Look for Cary's secondary to jump on this oppurtunity.
Cary started out the season 2-0 with high hopes. However since the start of the season Cary has not beat a single team with a winning record. In their defense the 4 teams they lost to are ranked 1-4 in the BBB9 West. Cary has 2 Halfbacks that can flat out run the ball. Danny Runna and Seamus Wayland. The 2 combined average over 100yds per game.
Houston 31- Cary 24(0-29)
Bay Area Bombsquad 2-6 vs. Honolulu Warriors 6-1-1
Bay Area has not had much success in the 3B9 with thier only wins coming from the Avengers and Panthers. However this team is much better than their records reflect. Only allowing 15 points per game shows a strong defense. If only they can get the offense up and running they will be a force to reckon with. I foresee one more victory this season for The Bay Area but alot of close calls.
Honolulu is the hottest team in the west and possibly the 3B9. You name they can do it. Only once all season have they been held without a TD. Honolulu has given up less and scored more points than any other team in the 3B9. They have a stron defensive front. Led by sackmasters Alika Smith and Lyghts Out. I see them ading another 3 sacks a piece to there season totals today.
Bay Area 7- Honolulu 42 (0-61)
Kansas City Wiz 6-2 vs. The Elite Sea Team 3-5
Kansas City is coming off a impressive win against Omaha. With the help of KC's offensive line no QB has been sacked this season. Look for that streak to remain intact today. QB Jake Kane is probably the Best QB in the the west. With the best TD/INT ratio in the western conference look for an air attack against EST.
EST has really been disappointing this season. Reminding me of the N.O Saints. Playoff contender one season, joke the next. Averaging 17 points per game The only bright spot on this team is WR Djie Up!. Averaging 83 yards per game.
Kansas City 21- EST 17 (13-30)
El Paso Bandits 4-4 vs. Omaha Shockers 7-1
El Paso started the season off much like the Carpetbaggers. Beating only teams in the bottom of the conference. This week they look for their first win against a team with a winning record. With a solid offensive line look for them to try to rush the ball against Omaha. On the defensive side of the ball and on paper El Paso' s D only gives up 14 points per game. Unfortunately their Offense only puts up 12 points per game.
Omaha is coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Wiz last week. Starting to show signs of trouble in the secondary. Omaha's offense has not been impressive at all averaging only 17 points per game against teams with winning records. Luckily the Shocker D has stepped up to cover the slack allowing only 12 points per game against those same teams. Omaha is the only team so far this season to keep Honolulu out of the endzone.
El Paso 17- Omaha 20 (3-28)
Scranton Tunas 3-5 vs. LA Avengers 1-7
Scranton is looking forward to an easy victory this week. Since the teams last play meltdown against BC back in week 4 Scranton just has not been able to get the ball rolling. Losing another close one last week to Riverside. Look for Scranton to come out and make a statement today as they attempt to get themselves back into the playoff picture.
LA much like the Bay Area has had little to no success since the formation of the league. But since LA came under new management the team has certainly started to take a tep in the right direction. Look for them to actually score twice this week against Scranton. As far as that easy victory Scranton is hoping for. I dont see it. I see a cose battle coming down to the wire.
Scranton 21- LA 14 (40-0)
Hollywood Stars 6-2 vs. Riverside Renegades 4-4
Hollywood is doing what Hollywood does best. Winning. The teams only losses come from Honolulu and Team Tejas. Look for Steve Reloaded to pass for his average 210 yrds today with little to no difficulty. However so far this season both Hollywood HB's sem to be a non factor.
Riverside after today's game will not have much success. Their schedule is about to be harder than ever. Every other week they have the #1-3 teams in the western conference. And for their inter conference play they have the highly underrated Palmyra Cougars. Riverside much like other teams only success comes from teams with a below .500 record.
Hollywood 33- Riverside 13 (23-12)
Team Chuck Norris 0-8 vs. Houston Panthers 0-8
Until one of these teams gets serious about winning neither is worth talking about
0-0 Tie (6-32)

At the end of the day it was just a few bad plays on our part that kept us out of the win column.
