re: the Quick tactics editor is the only place you have this right now. No reason it can be on the player page as well.

Every offensive player, STOP, and kicker should set their defensive focus to "Run".
Every defensive player and STOP should set their blocking style to "Run Focus".
Now I know you're going to say... "Ummm... you've lost your mind... my offensive dot can't set defensive focus." or "Dude... I'm a defensive player... I don't block and don't have settings for it."
... YOU DO have those settings. You just can't see them on the regular individual tactics page. However, you can get to them from the Quick Tactics Editor link (right above the list of your dots).
For example...for an OL
I go to the QTE, select O-Line and then click the "Defensive" tab. And Ta-Da! There they are... everything from defensive focus to coverage distance and style to pass rush style.
Go look... I'll wait.

Pretty neat, huh? So go do it.... Offense set defensive focus to Run... and Defense set blocking focus to Run. That goes for you too, kicker and punter!
And while you're in the QTE, make sure all your dots are set to HARD play intensity.
