I have boosted every season I have played GLB. I forgot to boost yesterday and now I am screwed with a group of my players. (not bitter my fault)

Was just coming here to suggest this actually as I was talking about the option on the free players.
I was going to suggest:

Have the auto-boost checkbox that is found on free players, also available for all dots. Just make sure a warning comes up alerting the player it will automatically take flex away from the account. And do NOT make this selected on dots by default!!!

It usually takes a major screw up to not get a guy boosted...but yeah this could improve the game for some users so +1

Of course you'd have to remember to put in the necessary amount of flex first.
