Sacks occur on passing plays and thus should subtract from team passing yards, not rushing yards. Team rushing stats get skewed to the point that they mean little.

Also, stop counting sacks as a QB rushing attempt. Again, it is a passing play and this corrupts the QBs rushing stats. This is most frustrating for scrambling/rushing QBs, who oddly enough get sacked more than a pocket passer.

going to disagree here. scrambling QBs are sacked more often because they tuck and run. But they can still break out a long one

I prefer college football to pro football, but this makes much more sense, generally speaking.

I think a sack shouldn't count as negative to rushing or passing yards.
