my CB's were level 71 and 280 days old with 3 boosts, i was in the process of trying to boost them but my luck sucks so they were both in a game, so i told myself to do it later but i got busy and forgot.

And whoops 281 comes around and both had 6 boosts and were only able to boost to 77.

Why couldn't the 6 plateau boosts stack up with the 3 boosts i already had to make it 9 boosts? Obviously i would only be able to boost til i hit 79, but instead i'm stuck at 77.

After p much a year of building, one day costs me 2 levels. A ton of dots hit plateau midseason, yes i should've boosted at the beginning of the season, but i was away for 3 weeks.

I'd not want to start down this road, especially at this point. I could see this as being a case by case basis (which support should handle) but in a couple seasons this will be moot anyways since the only way to miss 79 is to just plain not boost 30 times. I don't think we want to encourage people to screw around with purposely missing boosts for extra gains and then getting more at the end somehow.

I realize that with ages being non standard (ie plateau not starting at the end/beginning of a season for a few more waves of players to come) it can be confusing for people. However realistically you did have quite a lot of time in which to boost before your players hit 281 days old.

I can't see the exact XP on your guys but assuming your players were exactly 71 with 0 XP, you had at least 11 days prior to 280th day to boost with no effect on your players. (150+25 every 2 days for 12 days would be 2100 XP) Level 69 being the last level any change occurs to XP gains that you might wait for.

Instead of allowing people to use their last season boosts in addition to the 6 plateau boosts, that support be given the ability to check to confirm that boosts were missed in the last season and allow them to assign up to 3 more boosts. Maybe allow a 1 week grace period for people to contact support to make use of it.

You should try to contact support as soon as possible about your dots also to get them to 79 for their plateau.

All i got was a "At this point i don't see why the 2 boosts would even help the dot, it's not even enough to put 1 point in speed"

the hell? At this point i'm not using SP on primaries. 12 SP is like taking an SA to 6

i mean i get it if all dots turn 281 on day 1 or something.

but right now most dots turn 281 in the middle of the season, and like i said i was busy for 3 weeks.

if i'm able to boost 3x the 20 days of the season before i hit day 281, why shouldn't i be able to still use those 3 boosts the last 20 days of that same season + how many plateau boosts to get me to 79?

I thought the whole bonus plateau boosts idea was implemented to put APD-converted players on a "level playing field" at 79 when they plateau?

It seems counterintuitive to me that support won't help out a couple of players that missed out due to an unintentional owner mistake, especially when they plateau midseason. If support can reset equipment mistakes (and even boosting mistakes), then they should throw you a fricking bone here.

Also this would mean that you spend flex, and would probably be more inclined to keep playing this game and spend more flex in the future.

Nowhere it says you loss your season boosts. It is not about throwing a bone, but overcoming a bug.

How many boosts does the player have? I think also there is a max of 30 boosts. Those boosts shouldn't stack imo but there is a difference between your 3 Extra + 3 plateau boosts and your last season's boosts. I had to boost early once and will probably have to do it with a few more of my dots just to get to 79. It is what it is but like Chysll said, the higher ups will rule on this.
