Would also be great if they made any other play setting remotely useful to use , like maybe having normal setting make SA's fire more often, playing on relaxed gives a hefty morale boost and even greater SA firing.

yeah, get rid of it all together, it goes back to the days of not being at 100% energy for every game when you had to train on light just to get a +10 to energy... its completely useless now and has 0 benefit.
