It would be awesome to have the option to watch the games as their being played. I'm sure this has come up one time or another, that should be something to look into. I'm not sure if this type of service is available but it would be nice, excuse me it would be awesome. Another thing has anyone bothered to check out the bug in watching a game after it has finished, you click on the auto button to go to the next play but when your team has the ball you still have to manually click on the next play button, it's kind of contradicting itself.

not sure why this is needed... you want to watch the simulation as its being simulated? the replays are the same thing, though, right? what difference does a couple of minutes later make?
one thing that WOULD really be cool, especially int he playoffs--is a scoreboard that shows the progress of other games that are being simulated at the same time. So its the 4th Q of your game and you can look up and see the score of the other playoff games in your bracket. That would be really cool.

I think there used to be an option like this, but people would just refresh the replay until the sim resulted in something they liked (true exploit), so it became like this now.

the ultimate would be if there was a program that took the data from GLB and put it into a graphics simulator that looked like Madden Video game, hell even if it was the 8bit version.

We used to have the ability to watch the sim (in text) in real time. It bogged this site down so much that it had to be done away with.

Really, I think the OP's suggestion is the product of two issues:
1) Not being aware of the "My Games" link (http://goallineblitz.com/game/user_games.pl), which makes results available as soon as the games are complete. Those links also are available from the league pages, but take much longer to show up on our user pages.
2) The "Watch Game" links going directly to the auto-scrolling text play-by-play instead of the visual play-by-play. Really, when you click a link that says "Watch," I think it's reasonable to expect something more visual.
I'd +1 a suggestion to change the "Watch Game" link, but I also would like it to be accompanied by a link from the visual play-by-play to the scrolling text play-by-play.

back in the early seasons when we could watch the text scroll from the sim it took considerably longer than a second

I don't get why you need to watch it live...just watch the game right after it sims (my league usually sims 45-50 minutes early)
