Often find myself continuously asking agents how their tactics are set, and to be honest it is worse than taking notes in calculus with an invisible ink pen.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but for the sake of simplicity, could there be an option to allow Agents to share their tactics and Owners/GMs to view (not change) player tactics. This would be an option similar to the Attribute sharing setup, where an agent can already allow others to see their abilities/attributes.

Attribute Sharing Option, and right below that would be Tactics Sharing Option which would be defaulted to team owner can view.

I just think this eliminates a lot of the mental note taking and assumptions that have to be taken to gather information in order to make sure game tactics are compatible with player tactics.

only if there's an option that makes the owners pay for the flex cost of the players

Why? Cause it's your dot?

There is no I in team bro. If the owner or OC wants to make sure you are set right, it's his right as the team owner. If you dont, you get replaced. Just like the N.. Oh wait

No, but there is an ME. You can't force this. I would only +1 if the player allows it...they are paying for the dot and don't need to let anybody see anything if they don't want.

Ahh, he did suggest it...+1 as an option.

I'm not sure viewing the tactics is the solution to this, but the argument that it's "your player to do with as you please" doesn't float. Your player is an employee of the coach and team owner. As with any job, you do it the way you are told or you're fired. If the replays were something where we could actually "see" real things better (such as "how far is that CB off his man?" or "was he being too aggressive on the blitz, or is he already passive and his vision just sucks?") then you could argue that it's the coach's job to watch the game and decide from there.

For me, I don't dictate what my players do, but I do try to spot patterns to where they fail and try to offer suggestions as to how to improve it. If I know what your tactics are I can know to suggest backing off in blitz intensity to catch the run better, or to suggest spending a little time on vision during the course of the season. I waste a lot of time with, "You keep getting beat, what are your settings? <wait for an answer that sometimes doesn't come until too late to offer a suggestion for the next game> Ahhh. Yeah - maybe back down aggressiveness a notch and see if that helps you from getting beat without affecting your sack/hurry numbers too much." If I knew the tactics, I'd know if that was good advice or not instantly.

But even if I was a benevolent dictator style coach - it doesn't matter. You work for me and ultimately you do what I say or you're fired. That's how the employee/employer relationship works.

OP stated it would be an option for the agent, not forced. No different than the option to share build and a +1 IMO.

I see no ME in TEAM, maybe you spell it different?

I know the arguments against, but +1 anyway.

For the simple fact that a coach could look at game film and tell what a player is doing in "real life" so why is it a mystery here?

Don't like this at all, I Coordinate, but would really dislike having the ability to see everything a player is doing. If I want that much control I'll build my own players.

Not this again.

-100000. It would become mandatory to do what the team owner said with YOUR tactics on YOUR dot, or you'd be benched or even rotted.

There has to be something that agents-only players get to decide for themselves.

Selfishly, I'd love to see those tactics when I OC. But it wouldn't be fair to the agents of the dots to deprive them of the one choice they can make without interference.

As to "there's no I in team," what if you think the OC or DC or whoever tells you how to set your player is wrong (about what is best for the team)?
