Just curious ... why does the script stop giving the player daily XPs when he makes it to level 73? Is that a GLB limit on total number of career daily XP gains or just an issue with the script?

i'm willing to bet it isn't the fact that he is level 73, but he is probably 280 days old, which is when a dot goes into plateau and stops earning XPs

Rolling Level Cap Based Upon Number of Boosts

While conducting testing of potential player builds, we found that the new growth rate of Accelerated Player Development led to players reaching higher levels and that there was the possibility of reaching higher levels with a limited amount of boosts. Because of this, we are making an additional adjustment to make boosting more worthwhile for our valued paying customers. What we will be doing is implementing a rolling maximum level cap based upon the number of times a player has boosted. The maximum number of boosts possible under the new system is 30 - boost upon creation, boost each of the player's first 7 seasons, boost at pre-season of player's 8th season, and plateau boosts once a player reaches 281 days of age. The level caps are based off of this maximum and are as follows:

30 boosts - Level 79
29 boosts - Level 78
28 boosts - Level 77
27 boosts - Level 76
26 boosts - Level 75
25 boosts - Level 74
24 boosts - Level 73
23 boosts - Level 72
22 boosts - Level 71
21 boosts - Level 70
20 boosts - Level 69
19 boosts - Level 68
18 boosts - Level 67
17 boosts - Level 66
16 boosts - Level 65
15 boosts - Level 64
14 boosts - Level 63
13 boosts - Level 62
12 boosts - Level 61
11 boosts and under - Level 60

The VPB will stop handing out XP for the pure APD players at level 73 as they will have 24 boosts (currently level 46 or less I think). However, the dots between level 46 and plateau are an intermediate case as they have more total boosts, a remnant of their pre-APD days, and so will be able to keep gaining a few more XP beyond level 73 before they hit plateau.

The new players who are pure APD will top out at 73 (24 boosts), then get 3 boosts at the start of the next preseason to 76, then get 3 plateau boosts to 79. If you run a VPB simulation on them you can see this effect in action. They will have very few trade in XP if they want to get to 79. The VPB contains the code for this and it looks accurate to me. This assumes that the APD players were created in the offseason and boosted from lvl 1 to lvl 4, I haven't bothered considering alternative scenarios, I just assume they never get to 79.

Gotcha ... yeah the player I was running in the script is currently level 33 ... so he falls under the latter category. Interesting that he'll stop earning daily XP in the middle of his last non plateau season

I'm using this player builder and my lvl 44 130 day old dots are getting that 26 skill point boost at level 74, is this accurate?

Not worth much since the results will always be the same. The only thing that got changed was the method for fetching some external pages. The only reason to use mine is if you can't load an existing player.

yeah, I figured it was the same, but i may as well try it, I know you have other issues at the moment

still trying to figure out what the dealio is -- I know about the rolling level cap, and somewhere I think I saw where daily and game xp stop before day 281 depending on # of boosts, but i could be mistaken, but it's either that, orsomething is screwy with the script

Is this fact or speculation?

Could XP still continue until day 280 and maybe 1 less plateau boost would be needed?

It'd be kinda cool to see effective skill point/level value as you run through the VPB if possible
